My great grandfather, Adolph Kliem, came from Silesia, now a part of western Poland.I know Pomerania is a part of Germany but I am not sure what part. Is it near the eastern part of Germany? They settled in Nashville, TN after coming over in the mid 1850s. The ones Sharon Woods are looking for are the same ones I have in my family tree but I cannot find a connection with Texas for any of them in my research except my grandfather, Lewis Martin was supposed to be in Galveston during the great disaster in that city at the turn of the century. Let me hear from you. If we are connected I have a goodly amount of info I will be happy to share with you.
