My grandfather, Constantine (or Konstantin) was born around 1887 and came to the US around 1912.He settled in Chicago and somewhere along the line, I was told he may have been from Hrodna (now in Belarus -- not too far from Minsk). He supposedly had four siblings (one was Nicolai/Nikolai).Their mother, Anna, died and their father remarried and had some additional children, although I do not know how many or anything about them.I believe my grandfather spelled his last name K-L-I-M-U-K; however, my father (and his brother) spelled it K-L-E-M-E-K.
If you have that picture scanned into your computer, I would be happy to look at it and see if it looks like my grandfather.I, too, have an old picture of my grandfather (with my grandmother), unfortunately, it is quite large, so I don't have it scanned in.
