I am looking for a William Klinefelter who served in the 104 Ohio Infantry Co A during the Civil War. Later he served as a minister in Bolan, Worth County, IA during 1897. He was a member of the GAR Huntley Post 42 Mason City, IA; at some point he also served as chaplain for the IA GAR. During the 1880 IA census, he appears to be living in Afton, Union County, IA, again as a minister. His wife may be Ellen Holl whom he married 10 May 1870 in Stark (county?), OH.

Could this William be the son of Rev. Adam Klinefelter?
