I read with interest that your Klinefelter ancestors moved from Lohrhaupten, Germany to Philadelphia, PA in the mid-1700s. My Bongard (Bongert) family did exactly that sometime between 1750 and 1800. Do you know anything about the transatlantic ships they came over on? Any information would be very appreciated. Email response to
