MR. and MRS. J.H. KLING, left Monday for Bloomington, Neb., where they will make their future home, MR. KLING having purchased a large farm adjoining that town. By the removal of MR. KLING, Davis City loses one of her most prominent citizens; one who has done a great deal for the town, always being at the head of every town enterprise. MR. KLING came to Decatur County in l874, locating in Leon, where he studied law, being admitted to the bar in l879. In the spring of l884 he removed to Davis City and engaged in the practice of his profession. He served as Mayor of Davis City for eight terms and was elected Justice of the Peace three times.
MR. and MRS. KLING have a large circle of friends in this county who are sorry to see them leave. We commend them to the good people of Bloomington as desirable additions to their city.
