I am interested in learning something about Johan Bernard KLINGENBERG. My great-great-grandfather, Johan Cornelius KLINGENBERG, was born about 1828 in West Prussia. He lived in what is now Germany, Poland, and South Russia before coming to the United States. He was a part of a religious colony of Mennonites. Many of them were Dutch and moved across Europe due to religious persecution during the 1700 and 1800's. Johan had a brother Gottlieb, born around 1816.
