Hello Frank, I am hoping we can find a connection in our genealogies. My ggggrandfather, Johannes Klingenberg, was born around 1795. He was married to Dorothea Hinz/Heinz. He had a son named Gottlieb who was born in Estonia in 1816 and a son Johannes Cornelius, born in 1828, Danzig, West Prussia (now Gdansk, Poland). Johannes Cornelius married Jessie Charlotte Stubbe/Dravitz/Bowitz in 1848. They lived in Hamburg and later emigrated to West Prussia and South Russia and the United States. My father was a drummer, artist and soldier. I would like to find a Scandinavian connection, as my family looks more Scandinavian than German.
