Hello Uwe,

I too, am interested in learning more about my ancestry. I was told many years ago, from my grandfather’s sister, that we are descended from wandering minstrals in Germany (singing mountain?). Later on, the last report was that our Klingenbergs were hatters in Hamburg. My great-grandfather, George and his partner had a cigar business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania called Hildebrand and Klingenberg. His son, George Friederic(sp?) had seven children of which my father, Louis George was the eldest.

Hope to hear from you. Thanks.

Lee
