Hi Donna Klinck Adkins, My grandmother was related to a Klinck family through a BLEYLE link. She lived in the "Black Rock" neighborhood of north Buffalo, adjacent to Tonawanda. Her family was from Alsace; some of them came to Buffalo via Canada (Preston, Waterloo Co., Ont.). Mrs. Charles KLINCK (Emma METZGER) lived at 122 Summit Ave, where, on Jan. 20, 1923 she had "calling hours" after the funeral of her mother Christina(Mrs. George)Metzger, aged 84. Emma Metzger Klinck (Mrs. Charles Klinck) died Sept. 18, 1933. She had a daughter, Esther Klinck. Friends called at 370 Franklin Street. This info is from two obit clippings. My grandma was related to the Klincks through Christina (Mrs. Charles)Metzger, who was a Bleyle. Do you think there might be a connection to your family?
Carol
