There is a connection. Jacob Edward Klink's mother's maiden name was Schaefer and his father's name was John. He went by the name Ed Klink and had siblings, Molly, John, Harry (Hetzy)...Ed Klink's first marriage was to Rachel Geist of Johnstown, Pa. They had two daughters, Ruth Adele and Virginia Louise. Ed Klink pursued an acting career and changed his name to E. K. Lincoln. He was primarily known as a stage actor. He toured with various companies until he ended up in New Jersey where he worked in silent pictures.
