I also have information of my ancestry going back to either the 10th or 11th generation of which the Johannes Wilhelmes Klink (Klenche) arrived from Germany on the ship "Queen of Denmark" and landed in Phil. on 9-11-53.
(There has been several different spellings of the this NAME - such as Klenche, Klinke, Klinken, Klinkrade, & Klinkrode).
Johannes Wilhelmes Klink whom orginated in Siegen, Germany. He served "Burgermeister" (mayor) of the city hall until they were poverty stricken and then sailed to America and settled in Fredrick, Md. It appears his son, Johannes Henrich Klink, born abt 1746 in Germany, later moved to the Somerset County, Pa. area. He was married twice and had 6 children to his 1st wife, Maria Sophia, Andrew, Christiana, Jacob, John Jacob, and Anna Marie. Hope this is of help to you
