My ggrandfather came from Berks Co. PA, moved to Ohio, then on to Stephenson Co. Ill.(approx. 1840)
He died there, but his son John moved to Iowa and on to Missouri. I'm curious about your
comment "it seems part of the Klontz family came from PA." I know my part did (that is John Klontz) I
think you are of the Jacob Klontz part? Right now I'm checking a John Klontz who was born in North Dakota
26 March 1870, father Lark B. Clontz, mother Martha Pittman. I thought all the "C" Klontz's stayed
in the south.
