When I first started researching the Klontz family. There were several Clontz names in Canada. My husband's family also knows some Clonts from Arizona.
Yes, my family heritage comes from Jacob Klontz. I did some look ups on Klontz' in the 1880 Census CD's. I'll have to collaborate with you on my findings in Ohio as well as Illinois.
