Hello there,

Were your Klucks from Zippnow Catholic? My great-grandmother, Anna Kluck, was born June 9, 1853 at or near Zippnow. She married Christian John Jaster around 1878, and they emigrated to Huron County, Michigan in 1892.

Anna also had a sister who came to Michigan the same year. She was Maria Elizabeth Kluck, b. May 19, 1848. She married John Jaster.

There was also a brother and a younger sister who was blind and died from small pox at about 4 years of age. I don't know the first names of either though.

According to family oral history, Anna and Maria's father's name was Martin Kluck and their mother's name may have been Justine Bock, but this has not been verified yet.

I would appreciate it if you could check to see if there is any connection to your Kluck family line. Thanks!
