Kludt's - Wisconsin - Prusia

Hello to all - I am David Kludt's brother and have actually spent some time researching the Kludt family. My great-grandfather, Edmund Kludt, was (as far as I am able to discover) the only son born to "Christoph" Kludt who came from Posen, Prussia sometime in the 1860's with his father, Micheal Kludt. (His father's name according to the death certificate was "John"?) I am aware of the other Kludt's in the Wisconsin area but there appears to be no linkage unless it came from the "pre" USA immigration. Has anyone come across any info on either a "Christoph"
