We met a Mr. Kludt in Romeo MI several years back, his parent's left Russia ca. 1914 and came to America. (There were other German families we knew there that escaped to the American quarter in the closing days of WW2.) I was interested in Mr. Kludt's background since my g-grandfather was a Kludt, who moved to Chehalis WA in the early 1900s.
