Hello, David. Are you related to Elsie Kludt Watkins? Elsie was a daughter of Henry Kludt and Alma Nelson who lived in Kamiah ID. Henry was my grandfather's brother. My grandfather's name was William Edward Kludt and he moved to Chehalis WA about 1905. He and his wife, Susan Reisner, moved to WA from Iowa. Prior to that, they were in Wisconsin. I don't think they themselves were the immigrants from Germany, but their parents were. Does any of this seem familiar to you? I'll be waiting eagerly for a response from you.
