Yes and No, some changed their name to one p, from Klumph to pp, or Klumff to Klumph, etc., check out Clump too. Klumph usually came from Holland, Klump More from Baden, Klumpp from Baden or Wurett., or from Alsace, where they moved to before moving here. Catholic Klumpps/Baden, other Klumpp more Evang., Wurett., as a rule. No room for more.....
