I was just googling around to find a Jeanne Klump (my grandfather's spelling in his diary) who was a young woman during the 1940s. She lived in or near Elizabeth NJ. She dated my father's brother and all thru the war while he was overseas, she corresponded with him and visited my grandparents. I am transcribing my grandfather's diaries and I'd LOVE to be able to add some info about her. My Uncle was born in 1922 so the Jeanne/Jean I am looking for would have been of similar age. Grandpa did call her "Klumpp" a time or two. I'd love to correspond with any of you who could at least tell me if she married, where she lived, children, etc. I don't need a lot, but would love to annotate grandpa's diary with the info about her since she is mentioned so often. I don't believe he records what happened w/ her and Uncle Bob once he returned home in 1945, but maybe it's there & I've just forgotten. The transcribing of these diaries is a long involved process because I am illustrating and adding to them. Thanks for any leads!
