Franceska RUSCH, daughter of Sebastian Rusch and Catherine Frank, born Jan 28, 1834 Erie County, died 1904 Kenmore. Buried St. John the Baptist Church cemetery, Kenmore, NY.

Married Dionysius KNAB, born Sept 17, 1828 in Moos, Baden, Germany, died 1920 in Kenmore, NY. Buried St.John the Baptist Church cemetery, Kenmore, NY.

Marriage Feb 7, 1854 in Kenmore. We have a copy of the priest's entry. Microfilm #1292803.

Only one of Dionysius' sons survived: William Joseph Knab, born 1858 Kenmore. Married- Maria Anna Mang, 1883, Kenmore. Son of William Joseph Knab and Maria Anna Mang: Frank J. Knab 1895, married to Agnes Lovocat.

We can provide KNAB information: Our roots are in Unzhurst, Baden, Germany. Martin Knab, born in Unzhurst 1791, wife Maria Anna Bohn Knab, sons Dionysius and Aegidius and 2 daughters Maria Anna and Rufina, left Moos, Baden Germany in 1830-1831. They settled in Nordbush.

Seeking more information on Martin Knab's port of arrival.

I would like to correspond with descendants of Dionysius Knab.
