sorry to take so long in getting back to you. Yes, by all means I would be willing to share our information. I feel that there is a good chance of us researching along similar family lines anyway given the size of Monroe Co., Michigan. Also have my grandfathers side of the family moving there about 1840's, Ott is the surname, it is being worked on by my daughter in the "OTT" forum this website. The Knab's settled in La Salle early in the 1800's the farm from what I've been led to believe is situated on both sides of "Otter Creek". Wilheimina M. Knab Ott moved, with my great uncle Theo the youngest child, after the death of my ggrandfather John G. Ott (8 Jul 1896) from Toledo, Oh. John and Wilhemina had four children: Elma 1887, Julia F. 1888, my granddad John Carl 1891, and uncle "Pep" Theodore Robert 1895. All were born in Toledo. Elma married Robert Stowe and Julia married Roy Shunk, Uncle Pep never married. My grandad's father was born in Dundee. We may be related to the Knab thru another union besides Wilhemina and John. We have found a IGI Record for George Knab and Christina Ott, 28 Oct 1865, Monroe, Monroe, Michigan. Christina may be a sister or cousin of my ggrandfather John G. Ott. Hope some of this sounds familiar. Sinc. Norm Ravely
