Hi Suzanne

I would love to be able to say that we are related but your William Knapper is not the same as mine. My great great grandfather William Knapper was born about 1830 in Kidsgrove Staffordshire and as far as I can tell was a miner all his life in S on T. However there may be someone else contributing to this forum who might share a common lineage with you. I have been very lucky because in nigh on 15 years of family history I hadn't found anyone who was related to any strands of my father's family nor my mother's family and I was beginning to lose hope of finding anyone. That is until recently, through this forum a third cousin Edward Knapper made contact with me. A great event which I think I described at the time as being like discovering life on another planet in our galaxy!
What is New Zealand like? My son Russell Knapper is constantly talking about emigrating there. Are there any opening for graduates with degrees in Business and Information Technology?
Best wishes
