Hi Jeanette,

I had given up any hope of any further messages on this site until,that is, I saw yours. Yes I would be interested in your Kidsgrove records because my William Knapper was, if his age was correct on the 1871 census, born at Kidsgrove around 1830.It would be even better if we find that we are related even distantly! I'm not holding my breath though, because like you I have been at the Family History business for some while researching my mother's name and I have yet to find any present day person remotely related. Its like looking for and finding inhabited planets in the universe!
