My mother's grandmother was Angeline Knauf (Marathon City, WI) and she visited the Fred Knaufs in Sheboygan quite often. Fred was from Calumet Michigan and was the post master of Sheboygan WI from 1918 to 1931. He had two daughters named La Verne and Louise. Louise was my mother's good friend, but Mom doesn't know what happened to her. She would be around 96 now. The info I have regarding Fred is in the Sheboygan Library on microfilm of Sheboygan newspaper, May 31, 1918. I just happened to look it up last week. Good Luck in your search. I understand that all Knaufs are distantly related. I also married a Knauf!
