Hi Heidi,
Just found my Isle Of Mann Kneales and hope you might have run across them before. I have Robert Kneal b. ~ 1804 IOM and Arthur Kneal either b.~ 1799 or 1819 IOM ( the census was hard to read). Don't know anything else about them except they obviously emigrated to America and were living in the southwestern part of New York state (Chemung Co. , Big Flats) by 1850. Robert is most likely the father of my great -great grandfather William T Kneale b. 10/21/1834 in NY. He lived most of his life in the Chemung Co., Elmira New York area. Robert married a Phebe who was b. in NY and their first child was b. in 1832 so he probably immgrated some time before then. Any leads are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Diane Land in Pennsylvania, USA!
