KNEALE Family Genealogy Forum-Search for-any imformation of the ,above stated person. This man,Victor James Kneale,is my ,biological, great grand father, and i am hoping ,that there may be someone, that can give me some more imformation,on this issue.Firstly my name is,Allan Warren,my grand father, was born as,Victor Leonard Kneale,in 1919,to parents,Victor James Kneale,(b)11/3/1901,in Richmond and Annie LeNeve ,(b)1903.Victor was 18 & Annie 16,when they were married,in April 1919,and my grandfather, was born on ,May 18th 1919,one mth later, they also had another child in,1920,called William, who died aged 1yr.Between 1919 and 1922,they seemed to have, been coupled(married)and produced 2 children, maybe 3,thats were it stops. My great grandmother Annie Kneale,(nee LeNeve)has then coupled with a man called ,WARREN,by which,my surname has come!.I know by 1924 ,she has had a child to WARREN,so im gathering that they have parted ways, maybe separated ,i dont think divorced as yet, because she had a stillborn child in 1928,called Lillian Kneale, buried with William, but was definately WARRENS child,as he had mentioned her death and birth to my grandmother once, but Lillian has Kneale on her birth certificate,as she still was legally married to Victor, and she didnt marry,Warren untill there last child was born!! saga hey.So thats sort of all the imformation i have of ,Victor James KNEALE.I found out all this imfo, through getting my ,granfathers birth certificate, finding out who ,his father was,re-Victor James, then getting his birth certifate and so on,I was lucky enough,to find some descendants,of Victor James brother ,Leonard Arthur ,who gave me some, great and vital clues and imformation, as to where the actual Kneale family came from, which is the ,Isle of Man,clan!,So this is what i know so far, of the past history as ,to which brought and brings me here writing this very long message, hope you arent brain strained yet ! What i know thus far ,Victor James father, was,John Charles Kneale,(b)Adelaide ,SA,1855.Mother was Mary Kneale (Nee)Mitchell,1865,Sunbury (Taradale)VIC.John Charles Kneale,is a descendant of,Robert Willaim Kneale bap,7th of AUG 1831,in Ramsey Isle Of Man,who arrived in South Australia in 1851,and then went to settle in Creswick Vic.Robert William Kneale,is a descendant of Edmund Kneale from the Isle of Man,date of birth unknown,as well of death, but married on the 27th of Jan 1816,in Braddon.I dont know,im sure the Kneale Tree, branches out pretty far,but luckily the surname isnt so common!which makes it easier to connect,so that is why im hopeful,to find more imformation as to where ,Victor James is,and has been laid to rest. When i started my search,i got his birth& marriage certificate &,then numerous ancestrial imfo through fellow Kneales, but when i sent into get his death certificate atleast 6 yrs ago i recieved a letter back, from the Birth Death & Marriages, stating that there office had searched, but found no records, therein of the, death in the State of Victoria of Victor James KNEALE,But this preludes all death records in other States and Territories of the Commonwealth. So as to finish this message off,Victor James KNEALE ,fathered my grandfather,in 1919,it looks like he separated from my grandmother(great) Annie LENEVE within 4 to 5 years, reasons unknown, guessing youth, early pregnancy and marriage etc,and Victor James KNEALE hasnt been seen of or heard from ever since, except that maybe he died in war,who knows? All i know is that, when they parted ways,he must of been no older than 25yrs old,im assuming he moved interstate as there is no record of his death,in Victoria,& i may be assuming, but ive got a hunch, that due to his young age ,that he most probably, started another family,as to which Annie Kneale (nee)LeNeve did.All i know is that,my grandfather, never knew his father, and through adoption and or through Annie LeNEVES,2ND marriage to Mr WARREN,that my grandfather ,somehow, become a WARREN in name ,and never discussed, his bioligal fathers heritage and name, with anyone ,my grandmother included ,mainly because he never knew much, and back then they just didnt talk about such things. All i know is that, his birth certificate, which he stored away, for many years before it was lost, carried the name KNEALE not WARREN,and was a mystery to everyone, even to him ,i suppose,up untill his death,in the early 90's.Lenny as he was known as,had 7, children,to a woman known as Joyce WARREN(nee)GREY,20 Grandchildren ,and 9 great so far,and working on it!So to end this message off finally,im hoping that there is even ,alittle imformatiion,as to where,Victor is and has been, and where he finally laid,as to put a end to this mystery, forever and put it all to rest, not only for my grandfather, but for me as well, knowing that that man ,Victor James Kneales, blood runs through my veins, and that i truly am a kneale by birth, but forever carry another surname, for life, due to circumstanes,in the past which are best revealed and put to rest, and who knows, there could be other children ,descendants of Victor James Kneale ,out there, that would maybe like to share and solve my unsolved mystery,as to piece the past together, and set it free! thanks for, reading this message hoping it all doesnt seem like babble,Yours sincerely.Allan Warren, really KNEALE! Regards all.
