I am looking for any information on the parents of Wilhelmina Knecht/Knight. Born in Germany, she came to the US in 1832. met and married Andrew John Hoffman in St Louis, MO, 1842. They lived there until 1846 when they removed to Iowa. It is said that she was of the same family as Harry Hall Knight, who was the chief financial backer of Charles Lindbergh's transatlantic solo flight. Maybe an Aunt concidering the year of the flight.
