RM(Roudolph Max) was my father. Knecht was his mothers maiden name, he never knew who his father was. His mother came to US from Germany in late 20's to early 30's. I saw her three times. My father never discussed his childhood. It was something he never wanted to talk about it. He was an only child born in White Plains, New York and grew up in Rochester NY.
