in Zweibrücken I found 10 telephone-connections for KNECHT ( Doris, Elisabeth, Ernst, Gerhard, Jacob, Klaus, Ludwig, Marcus, Max and Walter) and 5 for HEYL ( Hans, Ingrid, Lilli, Marcus, Gertrud Schölch-Heyl).This may be a help for you.I think that you can get access to the German telephone book, otherwise tell me which help I can give.

Unfortunately that branch in Zweibrücken obviously had no connections with my family KNECHT who lived in Eberbach and emigrated into the USA.But perhaps I should make some phonecalls to them to find out more.
