I have discovered that my house was built and lived in by Albert and Ursela Knecht in 1917 in Normal, IL. They owned all the land around it for many years. We are restoring the house right now. I found out that Albert was a carpenter who worked for Paul O. Moratz for many years. Moratz built many Carnegie Libraries and other buildings. Albert worked at the Acme Planing Mill in Bloomington, IL. I would love to have a copy of any pictures of the house or Albert and Ursula. I found their family plots in Evergreen Cemetary. I do wonder where the other children are buried.( Albert jr., Louise, Fred, Rose, Eda and Carl?) Any information from any related Knechts would be appreciated, Thanks Dawn
