I am interested in the string of messages about Knipe family in Kendal, and particularly in Cedric Knipe's message that his ancestors go back to 1700s in Hawkshead. I am trying to trace back gt x ? grandmother, Alice Knipe who was the daughter of Rev Isaac Knipe and Magdalen (maiden name unknown). She was born 1767 in Ambleside/died 1802 in Kendal and married a Benjamin Hunter in 1792 in Ambleside.

Any connection?
