Jeremy:
I don't know if you have found my research on Rootsweb yet, but it includes a great deal of information on the Knipe family. A good deal of the information came from James Lloyd Knipe's manuscript, "Early Knipe Families in America" (which is available on microfilm from the LDS).

My line also starts with Johannes, then goes to Joesph, then Jacob, then George. I have been trying to connect Joseph wife, Catherine Lightcap, to the Lightcap family that appears in the records of St. Peter's Church (Gwynedd Twp), were she was married. However, I have one piece of information that says she was from Barbadoes Island, Norristown (as you mentioned Benjamin Love was the caretaker for awhile.)

I did not have Benjamin Love in my records, so I have added him. Do you have the decsendants of Benjamin and Mary Ann Knipe available? If so I would love to get ahold of them.

If you need additional info on the Knipe family I'll try to help out if I can.

Charlie Kron
