Claudia,

First of all, I think we met and are some degree of "cousins". (Wasn't your dad once a printer)? Wilbur Knipe was my great-grandfather. Edna (Knipe) Shepard (married to Ross Shepard, dec.) was my grandmother, my mother's mother (Thelma Shepard). Edna died here in CA and her ashes are with her son, Tom. He lives in North Jackson, OH (yes very near to Youngstown). I believe the triplets were Faith, Hope and Charity. I have pictures of them. I met Bruce when I was very young...He was living in a shack with no electricity. I have met Chuck Knipe, who attended my mother's memorial April , 1997. I have a lovely newspaper article written about Rev. Knipe from Sept. 20, 1953. Somewhere, I have his Bible (or one of them), a photo of him on the steps of one of his 3 parishes. By the way. he was ordained by the Methodist Church. I also have a 33mm roll of microfilm titled "Early Knipe Families of PA" by James L. Knipe, dated 1949. I have yet to have it printed... I have so many old pictures...only some of which are labled. Hope to hear back from you. Oh, I'm Merri Jean
