Thanks so much for your info. My aunt from Keysville, Va. had met a person not far from were she lives that had the name Canipe. This person said she was related to her mother but Aunt Texi was told if the name wasn't spelled Knipe we were not related. Now I have to get back with her and try to find that person again to talk to her. Could you give me any names of the Reinhardts you have uncovered in your search. How did you get a list of the people on the Ranier maybe the Reinhardts and Kneips came over together? I was told our ancester came over and came thru Roanoke Island wherever that is. Like I have found out you can not always beleave what your are told by well meaning folks. Hope to hear from you Thanks ! again Lewis
