I have some BLACKBURN-KNIPEs in my family tree, but I have yet to establish the exact connection. I know that some of the daughters married Dutch men called STEENSTRAND and ANSDELL. One of them moved to Kent.

William KNIPE-EDGE was in Liverpool but I think he died at sea.

They were the children of Mathias EDGE (solicitor) of Ormskirk and Margaret BLACKBURN-KNIPE.

Any conncetion?
