I am researching the Knipp family from PA, VA, TN, and IN. Another researcher suggested that Knipp may have once been Knipe. I would like to hear from some Knipe researchers regarding this. Whether you agree or disagree... I,personally, am not completely sold on this theory because many of the Knipes seem to have come from England. The Knipp line that I am researching came from GMY. It just seems unlikely. Does anybody have any thoughts they would like to share?
