Dan: Just wanted to thank you for your posting! My husband'mother is a Knisley...thru and thru it seems...based on your work she is; on her mother's side :John1 David2 William E.3, Myrtle Knisley4. And on her father's side:John1 Jacob2 Samuel3 James4 Fredrick Samuel Knisley5. I will of course attempt to verify as much as possible but you have made my job much easier!! If I can help you in any way please advise. We live in Bainbridge, Ohio and still own the family farm on Lapperell Rd., very near the Lapperell Cemetary. To other Knisley Descendents this cemetary is falling into disrepair..any suggestions how we might save it?
