Charles F. Knobel was my GGF also. His son, Grover Joseph, was my grandfather, brother of James and Charles. Charles F. was born in Germany abt. 1848, married Annie Reynolds in New York abt. 1870, and had four children with her by 1880. About 1882, after Annie died, Charles married Ellen Kirwin, and they were the parents of Annie, Grover, James and Charles. Charles Frederick William Knobel died on Oct 27, 1895, buried in Greenwood Cemetery, NY. Listed on death certificate is father's name William and mother's name Adelaide. He apparently arrived in the US abt 1868. I also have descendency info. and would like to receive any info you have.
