My grandfather was Joseph Knoblauch. According to the information I have, he was born in Wurtenberg/Stuttgart, Germany on April 15, 1868. The date you list is 1865. Could this be the same person? His father was also Joseph (Josef).
My mother, Vivian, was his daughter.

I'm not sure if I responded to your message before. If this is a repeat, and there is no connection, please let me know.
I'm still looking for more information.

Louise (Mary Louise)
