Hi Bruce,
Great being in contact with you also. Fred has a book which was released over 10 years ago by the title of "the World of Knopps" but it appears to be out of circulation, have attempted to purchase via all net avenues and have an English bookshop looking for one for me at the moment. Fred said it came out of USA, but included the Aussies and NZ Knopps.

I still need your email address to include the files with all the info I have on Aust and NZ.

My relationship is through my maternal grandmother, Clara Cath KNOPP b. 1888 in Flowerdale and registered in Yea.

Both Sue and I have a William b. 1799 but father was James, so it all ties in.

What is your relationship to the Knopps?

There is a cousin of mum's living in Melbourne. I have his address in Mitcham. His father was William, son, of William, grandson of James who came to Aust. I have been meaning to contact him for so long as I am sure he would be able to fill in some gaps.

Unfortunately I am unable to find out who has all the "paper treasures" and photos of the family, hope they didn't go on the tip somewhere.

Thanks again for sharing your info, it certainly has helped and that's what it's all about - Sue and Fred are treasures as well.

Kind Regards and have a very Happy New Year
Marg
