Frederick Knop married Marie Meyer in 1850, they had Henry Knop born in May of 1851. Henry married Margaretha Jottman at the randolph County Courthouse on May 16, 1879. Henry and Margarethe had two sons before leaving for Montana. Fred. J Phil. Henry was baptised at the St John Lutheran Church in Bremen, Randolph County Illinois on 4-2-1881. Second son Geo Louis F was born 9-16-1882 and was baptised at the Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh, Randolph County, Illinois.
