Actually, I'm curious to see if you know where your KNOTTS line originated. Mine was in Queen Annes co MD at least as far back as 1770, when my gg-grandfather Andrew Levi KNOTTS was b. In abt 1845 my g-grandfather William KNOTTS, b 1805, QA co., went to OR on the Oregon Trail. He and his second wife, Sylvia WILSEY settled in Benton co., just north of Corvallis. WM was the first Benton Co. Clerk, and was on the jury for the first murder trial in Benton Co. (LOVE this history!!). Bob K, PHX, AZ.
