Relatives in Leon received word of the death of MRS. N.L. LUNBECK at Emporia, Kansas, the past week. MRS. LUNBECK was born at Pleasanton, Iowa; her maiden name being CORA KNOWLTON. She was married at that place in l872, to N.L. LUNBECK and they made their home in Leon for a number of years, removing to Emporia where they have lived for about 35 years, and where they have enjoyed life and made many friends. The husband and two of their three children, MR. R.L. (DICK) LUNBECK and MRS. FLORENCE GREGG, survive. The eldest daughter, a beautiful young lady, passed away in l896. She spent a winter in Leon a year or two before this date and will be remembered as MISS DELL LUNBECK.
