Hello, I have been working on my children's genealogy on their father's side, and came across one of the earlier Knowltons in Wenham, Mass. (Abigal Knowlton, married to Benjamin Preston, on April 9, 1795) She is five generations up grandmother of my two sons.
Abigail Knowlton md Benj.Preston
Thirza Preston md.Paul Haskell
Thirza Haskell md. Ira Ricker (Davis)
Addison Davis md. Martha Cahoon
Charles Davis md. Winola Hanna
Davis md.
2 sons Davis

Is this a close enough relationship for your study? I have not discussed this with my grown sons, but it does sound interesting, your study. Please let me know. If not, good luck with your project. Sincerely, LD
