1) I would contact the other people in the thread. I am not a descendant of this Knowlton branch (although descended from the Ipswich Knowltons also) and just looked up stuff in the Knowlton History plus did census work on the branch who went to Iowa, etc.
2) You might want to join the Rootsweb Knowlton listserve while you are doing your research; that way the most experienced Knowlton researchers will receive all your messages. We would love you to share your grandmother's notes. Elizabeth
