I know this was an older post; I'm curiuous if you found any info about those Knowltons that went from NY to Wisconsin?

I've just started digging into my Knowlton family and discovered that my ggg-grandfather, William Dyer Knowlton, was born in NY in about 1818. His kids were all born in Wisconsin, the first one in 1844; my direct line stayed in the mid-west almost until the current generation!

If you have any other info please email me at I'd be happy to share any info I have as well.
