Timothy Knowlton and wife Martha Shippe of Rhode Island

Does anyone know for sure where the Timothy Knowlton who md. Martha Shippe belongs on the family tree? I am again going through some notes made years ago when trying to find all of my Ancestral Timothy Knowltons and I have not been able to place the one who died 24 Aug 1770 in Cumberland, Rhode Island. I think he is the same one who married Martha Shippe in RI on 13 or 14 August, 1760 and had: Abigail, Betty, Paul and Ephraim. For a short time, a Benjamin Knowlton of Wrentham, MA. was guardian to Betty but it was a hardship and a new Guardian was named (Nathaniel Shepard) for both Betty and sister Abigail. (Is "Betty" aka Bethia?)

I know this Timothy is not one of my direct lines of Timothy Knowlton(s) but if I can put him someplace, it might help with the rest of my unsolved mysteries. I am still trying to find a wife of my Timothy Knowlton born 1720 and find where/when his parents died: Timothy Knowlton who md. Hannah Storey. Fortunately there are now so many online MA VRs to view it is easier to track them, but still awfully hard to prove/disprove those Knowlton genealogies...sooo many errors, mis-information and/or lack of any information.
