I'm searching for ANY information at all on Anna KNUST, mysterious first wife of my grandfather, Matheus (Matthias) ZOGG. Married to him in 1883 in or around Joplin, MO, she gave birth to a daughter, Flora Zogg, in 1884. Then she disappeared altogether. By 1888, Gpa Zogg had married my grandmother, Mary E. Williams. My mother, Hulda, was the second child of that marriage. We have rather complete records on Flora (my half-aunt) and her descendants. But Anna Knust-----??? It is said that she was German.
