Knuttons of Mytholmbridge cornmill
Hi I have just stumbled on this webforum this morning and I am intrested in finding out about my Knutton connection.
It sounds that Ian Goddard may be of help. I hope so on reading the last posts. I have a Lydia Knutton bpt 1767 kirkburton daughter of James Knutton possible Martha Robuck. She married George England b 1761 in 1800 kirkburton and had one son William England b 1808.She died 1811. He(William)spent some of his time living with Mary Knutton Spinster of Mytholmbridge Cornmiller I have found out through cencus returns. What I do have is some Wills and Inland Rev recipts on Mary Knutton, saying William England is her cousin and but no other info as to who her parents where. There is mention of two nieces then the same again down as Great nieces a bit confusing. Is there anyone who could help me understand the content of the Wills and Inland rev stuff. I also have two more wills of Knuttons from the same family Joseph and George cornmillers of Mytholmbridge. A gold mine to someone who knows there stuff but a huge headache for me as there just pieces of a puzzle.
I know they are all connected to Lydia Knutton somehow
many thanks to anyone able to help.
