Knyvett linked to a Burt?

We have an ancestor named Edward Knyvett Burt, born in Montacute, England in 1795 and christened in the Bower Hinton Independent Church in Martock. We believe his parents to be James Burt, and Elizabeth surname unknown.
My theory was that the middle name derived from his mother's maiden name or perhaps is paternal grandmother's maiden name.
Either way, does anyone have any record of a Knyvett marrying a Burt in the 1700's in England? (A long shot I realize...)
Regards.
